In my English class at school, my class made rocks with a one-word resolution on it.  The point of a resolution rock is to put one word on the rock that you can apply to your life.    On my kindness rock, I wrote the word strive on it.  I wrote the word strive because of the saying strive for greatness.  This saying means to me you shouldn’t make excuses, you should focus on your goals and be the best at what you do.  This applies to me because I recently suffered an injury about a month ago.  Now I am working my way back into basketball after having to sit out for so long.  Now after making the one-word resolution whenever I am having struggles during my comeback, I can remember to strive for greatness and make no excuses.
